It’s enough to make you want to stay in bed and pull the covers over your head but, you have things to do and no one has time for anxiety and its antics.

4. Set a consistent morning routine. Doing this has really changed my life. I used to be the most anxious, on-edge person in the mornings and consciously being aware of the steps I take in the morning has been a lifesaver for my nerves. When my mind is not racing, I don’t feel overwhelmed and stressed, I’m better prepared to deal with any challenges that come my way throughout the day and I can check off a lot more from to-do list.

It’s a win-win.

What you do within the first twenty minutes after waking up definitely sets the tone for the rest of your day so creating a morning routine that helps you to be at peace and ready to attack the day, is crucial.
