Happy Holidays + Great Life Updates

• By

Hey loves! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah!  Whatever you celebrate I hope that each one of you are finding a way to be thankful, find peace, and realize how important you are.  No matter what you may be going through, know that this WILL pass and there is so much more for you on the other side of any curveball that life throws at you.  I promise!

I’ve been ghost for a minute but, for a few great reasons.

Life Update #1

First, I tied the knot with my sweetheart on November 20th in West Palm Beach, Florida.  We planned everything in three weeks and it turned out beautifully!

I feel so blessed that God has given me such a great man to love and live life with! It has been a journey, to say the least but, it has been totally worth it to get this point.  I’m no relationship expert and I’ve had my share of mistakes and a divorce to show for it but, here’s my advice to those who are praying for a husband.

  1. Ladies, you have to believe (with every ounce of your being) that good great men still exist and that there is one meant just for you.
  2.  In the words of Shanel Cooper-Sykes, online life coach and spiritual teacher : GUARD YOUR GATES.  Be aware of what you are speaking, looking at, and listening to.  It has to match up with what you are praying and believing for.  For example, you can’t pray for a great, loving husband but then every chance you get you are talking to your girlfriends about how men ain’t s$%t, and there are no good men anywhere.   I can’t stress how important this is in changing your mindset and attracting more of what you want in your life.

I have much more to say on this topic but, I’ll save it for a later post or maybe for my first published book for women (I’m claiming it!).

Life Update #2

Also, the other life update involves a sweet blessing in the form of a little, baby boy that we will be meeting in June 2017.

Those of you who have been following me here or on Facebook and Instagram, know a bit of my story.  I started this blog after finding out I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and I wanted to document my natural journey as I searched for ways to get my body in balance.

I was determined (sometimes a bit obsessed) to get pregnant one day and have a healthy baby without having to use fertility drugs or any of the methods doctors were suggesting.

I am still in amazement that God saw fit to grant me and my husband our wish of becoming parents so unexpectedly! It was a surprise but, a very welcomed one.

This is my new reason to never doubt God and His timing, and to always believe in what I cannot see as yet.  It can happen if you believe and really trust that God can grant you your desires!

I’ll be sharing more on everything I did to prepare my body for pregnancy later. Stay tuned!
